Representatives of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture met Rector of SPUFT
On February 27, the delegation of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture met with Rector of the St. Petersburg University of Film and Television, Alexander Babayan.
On February 27, the delegation of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture met with Rector of the St. Petersburg University of Film and Television, Alexander Babayan.
The purpose of the visit of the delegation (UzSIAC) was the organization of joint creative, educational, methodological and scientific work, as well as professional development of its staff on the basis of SPUFT.
The program of acquaintance with the University of Film and Television includes a visit to a student pitching of fiction film ideas and a performance of SPUFTS's educational theater "Na Pravda", a visit to the departments, meetings with teachers of the university and other events.
A large cultural program is provided for the delegates of UzSIAC, during which they will get acquainted with the main sights of Saint Petersburg and visit exhibitions dedicated to Russian film production.
The Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1771 dated June 4, 2012 on the basis of the Tashkent State Institute of Culture and the State Institute of Arts of Uzbekistan.
The Institute is a unique higher educational institution that trains specialists in a wide range of professional areas that are directly related to the field of culture and art. It organically combines science and art, creative activity and applied technologies. Training is conducted in 20 areas of education, 15 specializations, it is carried out by 4 faculties and 21 departments. The Institute trains specialists in the field of acting, directing, art history, theater studies, sound engineering, cinematography, folk art, management of cultural and arts institutions.
